To quote from the book: For many of us, it is in the solitude and safety of a garden that we experience the deepest sense of peace. I couldn't agree more! 'Sanctuary' is broken down into chapters based on particular characteristics of sanctuary gardens: peace, change, passion, mystery and contemplation. The writers give some key questions to help readers determine what their personal sanctuary gardens might look like: · What is your ideal sanctuary? · Where do you feel most protected? · How did the places of your childhood console and inspire you? · What pleasing scents, colours, and shapes can you recall? Perhaps this will get you started in thinking about your ideal sanctuary.
