Chelsea Flower Show garden by Andy Sturgeon View our past newsletters			OVERSEAS GARDEN DESIGN NEWS FROM LAURENSON LANDSCAPE DESIGN LEADING UK LANDSCAPE DESIGNER VISITS AUCKLAND In March this year The Garden Design Society, in association with The Ellerslie Flower Show, hosted a visit by Andy Sturgeon , a leading landscape designer from Britain. Andy has won several gold medals at The Chelsea Flower Show, including Best in Show in 2010. Andy was in New Zealand to judge at The Ellerslie Flower Show, which was subsequently cancelled due to the Christchurch earthquake. But he was also scoping the possibility of creating a keynote garden at next year's Ellerslie Flower Show. Master Class attendees with Andy Sturgeon, centre in blue I was lucky enough to attend his thought-provoking public lecture on Making the Modern Garden, as well as a full day Master Class on Designing an Urban Garden, where he taught us how he uses models to design in 3-dimensions.
